Sponsor an intern

£5,000 (£4,500 directly to the intern and £500 towards to fund the mentor)

The work opportunities at FilmBath are profound – because we are a small organisation our interns experience all aspects of running a film festival as well as gaining managerial, marketing and production experience.

Here is what our previous three Festival Assistants have to say about their experiences:

“Working for the festival was one of the most amazing experiences; I met remarkable people, learned invaluable knowledge and felt inspired to make change. It tops all of my work experience (including paid production work). The role also lead directly to a full time, paid position in a Bath based production company” Jess Edge

“Working for the festival was a brilliant experience. I loved meeting and collaborating with the creative, enthusiastic and passionate team of volunteers to produce a festival. As well as being a lot of fun, the Festival Assistant work placement gave me an insight into working in events and helped me secure my current job in an arts organisation.” Laura Knight

“I had a great four months working as Festival Assistant for the festival. Each day was varied and I gained fantastic insight into how a festival works. Working for the festival was a brilliant experience and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in film and events: the experience led directly to gaining paid work for two other, large festivals.” Jessica Cowley

Sponsor FilmBath FilmClub

Banner sponsor: £5,000 p/a

FilmBath FilmClub is a new venture launching in winter 2019.

A constant piece of feedback we receive year after year is “I wish the festival went on longer!” We listened and will be running monthly film screenings in Bath  with Q&As, post film discussions etc.

FilmClub will run from Dec 2019 – April 2020 screening the same kinds of films we screen at the festival – independent, art house, feature docs etc.
