What is the FilmBath Circle?
The FilmBath Circle is a small community of committed supporters who believe in the power of cinema to bring people together, open doors for new voices and strengthen cultural life in Bath and beyond.
FilmBath is widely recognised for delivering a bold and inclusive film festival. What is less visible, and increasingly urgent, is the role our charity now plays in supporting emerging filmmakers, championing underrepresented voices and ensuring that access to culture is not shaped by income, background or circumstance.
At a time when public funding for the arts continues to fall and the UK’s film workforce is under significant strain, philanthropic support has become essential. The FilmBath Circle exists for those who want to do more than attend events. It is for people who want to help shape a sustainable, inclusive future for independent film in our region.
Membership
Membership of the FilmBath Circle is by invitation and involves a minimum annual gift of £1,000.

A year round relationship
FilmBath Circle members are invited into a programme of curated experiences throughout the year and during the FilmBath Festival, including:

Donor only screenings and conversations
Members also receive priority booking, early programme previews, optional recognition and opportunities to connect with fellow supporters who share a commitment to culture and creativity.
