Alice is a mother, wife, and all round good person, happily married to a charming and popular man. When he leaves the house one day and doesn’t come back, she discovers that he has taken all their money with no intention of returning. Faced with financial ruin and the potential loss of her home, she applies for a job at the call girl agency her husband had been secretly visiting. This is a light and witty look at an ordinary woman’s extreme method of liberating herself from an unwanted predicament.
